Abstract
The present invention relates to a self-adhesive dressing comprising a layer () of spunlace nonwoven material and attached thereto a layer () of adhesive. In accordance with the invention, the dressing is stretchable in a first direction (MD) corresponding to the machine direction of the nonwoven material and in a second direction (CD) perpendicular to the first direction, in conjunction with which the resistance to stretching is less than 10 N/25 mm in both the first (MD) and the second (CD) directions in the case of stretching of less than or equal to 5%.
