Abstract
Luggage cases that are sized and shaped to be carried on to the passenger compartment of a commercial airplane are called carry-on luggage cases. Cases small enough to fit below the passenger seatimmediately in front of the traveler must be very small and compact and generally interfere with comfortable placement of the passenger's feet during travel.
