Abstract
To assuredly determine whether a shutter pinches a disk in a disk device including a shutter at a disk insertion slot. A shutter control deviceincludes a pinch determining unitthat determines whether the disk is pinched by the shutter based on a position of the shutter during a process of closing the shutter, and a sensitivity changing unit that sets sensitivity of determination to be high as ambient temperature of a shutter driving mechanism increases.
