Abstract
An image pickup apparatus includes a gyro sensorthat detects camera shakes, a feed forward value is calculated by multiplying a first coefficient cto an output value of the gyro sensorwhen the output value of the gyro sensoris less than a first predetermined value, another feed forward value is calculated by multiplying a second coefficient csmaller than the first coefficient cto an output value of the gyro sensorwhen the output value of the gyro sensoris greater than or equal to the first predetermined value, each of the products is respectively added by an addition device to an output value of a drive signal.
