Abstract
A liquid crystal panelincludes a pair of substrates, liquid crystaldisposed between the substrates, and alignment filmsprovided on the opposed surfaces of the substrates. After formation of the alignment filmoris completed in a manufacturing process, it is checked by an inspection process whether a pinhole H is formed on the alignment film, and further the position of the pinhole H is detected. Thereafter, an alignment film repair filleris applied to the pinhole H by a repair process, so that the pinhole H is repaired.
