Abstract
An agent for dissolving dental calculus and/or dental caries, which comprises one or more kinds of substances selected from the group consisting of inositol phosphoric acid esters (e.g., phytic acid), polyphenols (e.g.,var.polyphenols), phosphoric acids, edetic acid salts, tartaric acid, malic acid, citric acid, and glycolic acid as an active ingredient. Dental calculus and/or dental caries can be conveniently dissolved in a short period of time.
