Abstract
The invention provides an improved drain structure of a cutting fluid supplied to a spindle of a milling spindle. The milling spindlecomprises a spindlesupported within a housing via a bearing, and a drawbarhaving a through coolant passage. The cutting fluid Cpassing through the rotary jointandis sent to the through coolant passage, but a portion thereof is collected in a drain chamber. When the pressure within the drain chamber rises, the drain devicepushes open the ballresisting against the spring, and the cutting fluid Cis discharged to the exterior.
