Statorsandare disposed with required air gaps in an axial direction of a rotorso as to face each other, a plurality of field bodiesor permanent magnetsare disposed in the rotor, and a plurality of armature coilsandare disposed in the statorsandaround the axis. At least one of the field bodiesor permanent magnetsand the armature coilsandare formed from a superconductive material such that their magnetic flux directions are directed to the axial direction.
