Abstract
It is an object of the present invention to provide an image blur correcting device having a dimension reduced in any one direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the incident light, and a camera equipped with this device. The image blur correcting deviceincludes a pitching movement frame, a pitching guide mechanism, a yawing guide mechanism, a pitching direction electromagnetic actuator, and a yawing direction electromagnetic actuator. The pitching movement framesupports a third lens group Gfor performing image blur correction. The pitching guide mechanismguides the pitching movement framein the pitching direction. The yawing guide mechanismguides the pitching movement framein the yawing direction. The electromagnetic actuatordrives the pitching movement framein the pitching direction. The electromagnetic actuatordrives the pitching movement framein the yawing direction. The electromagnetic actuatorand the electromagnetic actuatorare provided substantially opposed to each other and with a second optical axis Ainterposed therebetween.
