Abstract
An exemplary liquid crystal panel () includes a first substrate () having a common electrode layer (), a second substrate () parallel to the first substrate, and a liquid crystal layer () between the first and second substrates. The liquid crystal layer defines an active area () thereat. The second substrate includes common lines (). Electrical coupling elements are disposed at the active area, so as to electrically couple the common electrode layer to the common lines.
