Abstract

In an MFP having a displaying unit smaller than that of a PC, it is very difficult to select an editing target from a plurality of objects. To accomplish this, an image containing a plurality of objects is displayed. Objects corresponding to a position designated on the displayed image are extracted (S). Individual images corresponding to the extracted objects are laid out and displayed (S). One of the individual images which are laid out and displayed is selected (S). Image processing is executed for the selected object.
