Novel epoxy compounds having imide structures represented by general formula (I) or general formula (II) below, and having an allyl group in the same molecule, as well as a process for their production (wherein Rand Reach represent hydrogen, a C1-6 alkyl group, or a C1-4 trialkylsilyl group) (wherein Rrepresents hydrogen, a C1-6 alkyl group, or a C1-4 trialkylsilyl group).
