Abstract

The present invention is a retractable screen () and frame () assembly (). The frame () includes a first track () and a second track () in spaced and parallel relationship to the first track (). The retractable screen () includes a canister (), a screen cloth (), a control bar (), a first glide (), a second glide (), and a biasing device (). The biasing device () is disposed between a first end () of the control bar () and the first glide (). The first glide () is inserted into the first track () and the second glide () is inserted into the second track (). The glides () slide along the respective tracks () while the biasing device () biases the first end () of the control bar () with respect to the first track (). The biasing provided by the biasing device () prevents the control bar () from binding with the tracks () as the control bar () and the glides () are slid along the tracks ().
