Abstract

In a method and an apparatus for automatic determination of objects that attenuate high energy/penetrating radiation by magnetic resonance, the magnetic resonance apparatus scans and prepares MR images, and the MR images contain information about the Trelaxation time constant. Subsequently, penetrating radiation-attenuating objects are determined in the MR images by means of the Trelaxation time constant.
