Abstract
A drive system for a weaving loom includes a switching wheel () which can be driven by of a main drive motor () and can be axially displaced between at least two switching positions, which, in a first switching position, is in drive connection with two groups of elements to be driven () and, in a second switching position, is disengaged from one of the groups of elements to be driven (). A device () is provided which becomes active as the drive connection with one group is disengaged and which has a tooth element () which engages with a gear wheel () of the group of elements to be driven () and disengaged from the switching wheel ().
