Abstract
A shielding component, a heat shield in particular, has at least two shield components () detachably connected to each other by a connection unit. The connection unit has at least one snap fastener (), with the stud element () connected to one shield component () and with the eyelet element () connected to the other shield component (). The shield components may be reliably separated from each other and reconnected to each other with exertion of little manual effort.
