Abstract

The present invention provides a method for producing an L-amino acid using a bacterium of the Enterobacteriaceae family, particularly a bacterium belonging the genusor, wherein said bacterium has attenuated expression of a gene encoding a toxin of a bacterial toxin-antitoxin pair.
