Abstract
The drag adjusting device is provided with a pin memberarranged on a plate-like memberof a reel unitsuch that it can be attached to and detached and such that its position can be changed. The pin memberserves to remember a prescribed pivot position of a drag mechanism operating member. When an angler finds an optimum drag lever position, the angler installs the pin memberin a mounting recesscorresponding to the optimum drag lever position. In this way, the angler can easily set the drag mechanism operating memberto the optimum drag lever position without having to remember the drag lever position.
