Abstract
To provide a protective film for a polarizing plate that shows a water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of 30 g/m·day or less at 60° C. and a relative humidity of 40%, a water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) 80 g/m·day or more and 300 g/m·day or less at 60° C. and a relative humidity of 95% and a value obtained by dividing the difference between WVTRand WVTRby the water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) at 60° C. and a relative humidity of 60%, or (WVTR-WVTR) /WVTR, 2.0 or more.
