Abstract
An electrical connector () for receiving an electrical card assembly () which having at least one first cable connecting member (), includes an insulative housing (), a plurality of contacts () received in the housing and at least one extending portion (). The insulative housing defines a longitudinal main body () with a slot () extending along a longitudinal direction. The at least one extending portion is disposed at one end of the main body. The at least one extending portion is used for receiving and retaining a second cable connecting member therein to connect with the first cable connecting member.
