Abstract

A joint prosthesis has two prosthesis members () and each prosthesis member () includes a first and a second screw-like member () adapted to be screwed onto a respective bone (). One prosthesis member () includes a member () having a socket and the other prosthesis member () a member () having a head. The socket member () has a mounting pin () insertable into a first hole () in the first screw-like member () and the head member () has a mounting pin () insertable into a first hole () in the second screw-like member (). In the first as well as in the second screw-like member () there is provided at least one inner second hole (andrespectively) designed to permit insertion thereinto of a rod () of a screw tool () in order to secure by screwing the first and second screw-like member () respectively, at the respective bone (). The second hole (andrespectively) is provided in a bottom (andrespectively) of the first hole (andrespectively).
