Abstract
A device for generating safe status signals of a vehicle () that is movable along a given guideway includes data transmitters disposed along said guideway and provided with data (), data acquisition units () mounted on the vehicle and used for scanning the data transmitters and for supplying data signals, and an evaluation device () connected to said data acquisition units () evaluating the data signals. At least two of the data acquisition units () are provided which are connected to the evaluation device (), and the evaluation device () has an output () for delivering safe status signals when and as long as at least two data acquisition units () supply matching data.
