Abstract
The invention provides an optical glass which comprises, in terms of % by mass on the basis of oxides, 35-45% of SiO, 12-20% of BO, 2-7% of LiO, 0.1-10% of ZnO, 2-15% of AlO, 10-40% of BaO, 0-5% of KO, 0-10% of NaO, and 0-20% of GdO, wherein SiO+BOis 47-58% and LiO+NaO+KO is 5-14%.
