Abstract

In an information terminal apparatus with a camera having a rotating function, the object of the invention is to impart a predetermined torque to a camera so as to render the camera easily rotatable by the force of a finger in a desired direction and to continue its state of standstill when the rotation is stopped. An information terminal apparatus with a camera having a rotating function in accordance with the invention comprises: a camera unit including a cylindrical memberhaving a shaft portionC at one end thereof and for accommodating a camera therein, and an annular memberwhich is fitted over the shaft portionC; a main body portionhaving a bearing portionfor holding the annular memberand for rotatably supporting the camera unit; and an elastic memberprovided between the main body portionand the cylindrical member, wherein the elastic memberis arranged to impart a direction-of-axis force in an axial direction of the camera unit while moving together with the rotation of the camera unit.
