Abstract

The present invention is directed to a mixture of at least two different alkylated phenolphthalein ester compounds. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a mixture of at least two different compounds of formula I: wherein Rrepresents a straight chain alkyl group having 1 to 11 carbon atoms; Rrepresents a hydrogen atom or a group of the formula C(O)Rwhere Ris a hydrogen atom or a straight chain alkyl group having 1 to 11 carbon atoms; X2-X5 independently represent hydrogen; X6-X13 is same or different, and represents hydrogen or a straight or branched chain alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms. It further relates to a marker composition containing said mixtures dissolved in a solvent.
