Abstract
An output side transfer memberof a second clutch C-extends around the outer circumferences of the output side transfer membersof the third and first clutches C-, C-, the output side transfer member(or) of a fourth clutch C-and the output side transfer memberof a third clutch C-are linked to a sun gear S, the output side transfer member(or) of a fourth clutch C-, an output side transfer memberof a third clutch C-, and a sun gear S, which rotate integrally, are disposed radially inward with respect to the output side transfer memberof the first clutch C-. Thereby, it becomes possible to reduce the diameter of the output side transfer member(or) of the fourth clutch C-, to reduce the weight and inertia, and to improve the controllability of the automatic transmission
