The invention relates to a scrolling facility for moving information (I) shown in a display area (), with recognition means for identifying higher-ranking elements () from the displayed information (T) and fixing means for fixing the position (Fix) of at least one higher-ranking element within the display area, with the fixing means being embodied such that the at least one higher-ranking element remains fixed while at least one of the subordinate elements () assigned to the higher ranking element () is visible in the display area ().
