Abstract
In a vehicle control system, an opportunity for detecting abnormalities in an atmospheric pressure sensor using an intake pressure sensor of the engine is appropriately provided. A vehicle control systemincludes an engine, rotating electric machinesand, a power supply circuit, an intake pressure sensor, an atmospheric pressure sensor, an IG-ON/OFF switch, and a control device. A control unitof the control deviceincludes a system start/stop modulewhich starts and stops operation of the entire system, a sensor state determination modulewhich determines whether the atmospheric pressure sensoris in an abnormal state based on a detection value of the intake pressure sensor, a boosting limit modulewhich limits the boosting voltage of the voltage convertercorresponding to a detection value of the atmospheric pressure sensor, and a power supply stop delaying modulewhich delays a stop of electric power supply from a low-voltage batteryfor a predetermined period after the engine stopped.
