Abstract
The invention relates to a photomultiplier () with a fastening device, where the photomultiplier () has a solid cylindrical body, particularly a glass body (), and a tubular jacket, a light inlet () on the front end and connecting contacts () on the back end, and where the fastening device has a socket () on the front end and a plug contact () resting on the connecting contacts () on the back end, and where a force-fitting and form-fitting connection is produced between the plug contact () and the socket () by means of a connecting component ().
