A flange () for sealing an opening () of a fuel container () of a motor vehicle maintains an electronic component () which is arranged on the external side () on a carrier (). The carrier () is embodied as a single piece and has a heat-conducting element () which can penetrate the wall () of a flange (). The heat-conducting element () dissipates the heat which is produced by the electronic component () to the inside () of the fuel container ().
