Abstract
In a communication terminal in which a first enclosure and a second enclosure are foldable, to provide the communication terminal with an antenna characteristic with a wide band performance in either when the enclosures are opened or folded. In a folding communication terminal comprising an upper enclosureand a lower enclosurewhich are foldable through a hinge, and an antennaattached to the lower enclosure, the antennais arranged along the edge of the end faceA on the upper side abutting on the hinge of the lower enclosure, a conductor is placed in the upper enclosurenot provided with the antenna, and a second printed boardis provided so that when the upper enclosureand the lower enclosureare opened, it is connected to the antennaat a high frequency to operate as the antenna, thereby transmitting/receiving an electromagnetic wave.
