Abstract

To improve wear resistance of a woven belt and a seatbelt device including the woven belt A woven belthas a structure formed by weaving a plurality of warp yarnsextending in a substantially longitudinal direction of the belt and a plurality of weft yarnsextending in a substantially transverse direction of the belt. At least one of the warp yarnsand the weft yarnsis a fiber bundle containing highly contractible synthetic fiber yarns (e.g., yarns containing a low-melting-point filament componenthaving a relatively low melting point and a high-melting-point filament componenthaving a relatively high melting point) so that the strength of the fiber bundle can be increased, and the wear resistance of the woven beltas a whole can be improved.
