Abstract
The invention relates to a process for preparing semicarbazone compounds of the formula I, where Rand Rare each independently hydrogen, halogen, CN, C-C-alkyl, C-C-alkoxy, C-C-haloalkyl or C-C-haloalkoxy, and Ris C-C-alkoxy, C-C-haloalkyl or C-C-haloalkoxy, by reacting a hydrazone compound of the general formula II, where R is C-C-alkoxy, amino, C-C-alkylamino or di(C-C-alkyl)amino, and R, Rare each as defined above, with an aniline compound of the general formula III where Ris as defined above.
