Abstract

A method for treating a corneal disorder or for promoting skin wound healing comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a composition containing pharmaceutically effective amounts of (i) a first peptide comprising an amino acid sequence containing the following consecutive amino acids: Ser-Ser-Ser-Arg (SEQ ID NO: 1), or an analog thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and (ii) a second peptide comprising an amino acid sequence containing the following consecutive amino acids with a terminal —NHgroup: Phe-Gly-Leu-Met-NH(SEQ ID NO: 2), or an analog thereof or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
