Abstract
An ultraviolet excited light-emitting device is disclosed. The ultraviolet excited light-emitting device comprises a phosphor having at least one selected from the group consisting of Eu and Mn as an activator and a compound represented by a formula (1):MMMO  (1)wherein Mis at least two selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr and Ba, or Sr or Ba, Mis at least one selected from the group consisting of Mg and Zn, and Mis at least one selected from the group consisting of Si and Ge in the formula (1).
