Abstract
An electrical connector () includes an insulative housing (), a number of contacts () retained in the insulative housing () and a front metal shell () covering a front side of the insulative housing (). The insulative housing () has a body portion (), and a positioning slot () located at a lower side thereof. The front metal shell () has a base portion () and a board lock () integrally extending backwardly from a lower end of the base portion (). The board lock () has a flat securing portion () which is received in the positioning slot () for preventing the board lock () from moving along an up to down direction, and a locking leg () bending downwardly from an inner side of the securing portion ().
