Abstract

An inductorhas a magnetic bodyof a rectangular solid shape and a coilembedded in the magnetic body. The coilintegrally has a part constituted by a helically wound coil wire, two leader partsprovided at the two ends of the wound part, and terminal partsconnected to the ends of the leader parts and wider than the leader parts, where the boundary between each leader partand each terminal partis positioned in the magnetic body, and the end of each terminal partis exposed from the corresponding side face of the magnetic bodyand folded in an L shape along the side face and bottom face.
