Abstract
An I-beam () comprises a first D-shaped flange () and a second D-shaped flange () connected by a web (). Each flange includes a planar segment () and a curved segment (). A lip () depends from the planar segment () of each flange () and is adapted to be attached to the web (). The curved segment () of each flange () includes an outer surface () and an outer surface ().
