Abstract
The glass composition of the present invention includes the following components, expressed in mass %: 70% to 88% of SiO; 6% to 18% of BO; 0.5% to 4.5% of AlO; 0% to 0.5% of LiO; 0% to 0.5% of NaO; 2% to 10% of KO; and 0% to 2% of MgO+CaO+SrO+BaO, and the glass composition further includes chlorine (Cl). The glass composition of the present invention is used suitably as a glass substrate for an information display device.
