Abstract

The present invention relates to porous metal organic frameworks comprising at least one at least bidentate organic compound L coordinated to at least one metal ion M, wherein L has at least one functional group G which bonds noncoordinatively to M and is selected from the group consisting of —SOH and —POHand their analogues. The invention further provides processes for their preparation and also their use.
