Abstract

An antivibration rubber composition containing diene rubber (Component A) and silica (Component B). The amount of the Component B contained is set to a range from 10 to 100 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the Component A. The Component B has the following properties, i.e., a surface silanol-group density of not less than 3.0 groups/nmas determined by the Sears titration method, an average particle size of not more than 10 μm, and a BET specific surface area of 15 to 60 m/g.
