A brush holder () has a carbon holder () which forms a guide () for a carbon brush () and at which a holding spring () that presses the carbon brush () against a first guide side of the guide () with a holding pressure force (HF), is provided, with the holding spring () having two portions () which are biased against one another, and with the carbon holder () and the carbon brush () projecting through between the two portions ().
