Abstract
The invention includes a method for a wireless connection of a wireless portable deviceto a selected wireless devicein a group of nearby wireless devices-, which deviceis provided with a short-range-unitfor a wireless communication with said group of nearby devices-, a substantially omnidirectional antennaconnected to said short-range-unitfor a substantially omnidirectional communication, and at least one directional communication devicefor a directional communication, which method includes the steps of: activating the directional communication device; directing the directional communication devicetowards a nearby device; connecting the portable deviceto the selected deviceusing the directional communication device; communicating with the selected devicevia said substantially omnidirectional antennaafter said connecting.
