Abstract
Supplementary padding (), for a protective helmet () includes a T-shaped envelope () designed to be removably affixed inside the helmet. The envelope is made of a flexible material and defines pockets for receiving supplemental padding elements (), optionally made of synthetic foam. The envelope includes at least one opening for inserting the supplemental padding elements into said envelope and a self-gripping textile () for releasably adhering the envelope to lining () of the helmet.
