Abstract

The present invention provides an axial-flow fan capable of entirely cooling an object to be cooled even when the distance between the object to be cooled and an air discharge opening of the axial-flow fan is short. A plurality of stationary bladesA toE are disposed at intervals in a rotating direction of a rotor and located inside an air discharge openingof an air channel. Each of the plurality of stationary bladesA toE has an external end portionconnected to an inner wall portion of a fan housing, an internal end portionconnected to a peripheral wall portionB of a motor case, a discharge-side edge portionformed between the external end portionand the internal end portionand located at a side of the air discharge opening, and a suction-side edge portionformed between the external end portionand the internal end portionand located at a side of the air suction opening. An outer surface of the bottom wall portionA of the motor caseis located closer to a side of the air suction openingthan the discharge-side edgesof the plurality of stationary bladesA toD are located.
