Abstract
To provide a non-aqueous electrolytic solution for an electric double layer capacitor excellent in low-temperature characteristics, which solution has from 15 to 40 mass % of an electrolyte, more than 30 mass % and at most 45 mass % of a fluorobenzene represented by the following formula 1, and from 15 to 55 mass % of a cyclic carbonate represented by the formula 2: in the formula 1, n is an integer of from 1 to 6, and in the formula 2, each of Rand Rwhich are independent of each other, is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group.
