Abstract
An electrochemical cell comprising a lithium anode and a fluorinated silver vanadium oxide cathode activated with a nonaqueous electrolyte is described. The fluorinated silver vanadium oxide is of the formula AgVOF, wherein x ranges from about 0.02 to about 0.3.
