Abstract

The present invention relates to a composition for topical application, comprising at least one electrolyte and at least one amphiphilic polymer including at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing a sulphonic group, in free form or partially or totally neutralized form and comprising at least one hydrophobic portion. The invention also relates to the uses of the said composition, especially in cosmetics, to treat and care for human skin, the scalp, mucous membranes, the nails and keratin fibres.
