Abstract
A windshield wiper device, in particular for a motor vehicle, comprising a carrier () for fixing to a first part (), especially to the body of the motor vehicle. A locking element () having a predetermined breaking point () is also provided in order to enable the carrier () to be fixed to the first part () by a rotational connection.
