Abstract
The invention provides a device for automatically opening and closing a lid of a trash bin in noncontact fashion disposed in a lavatory unit of an aircraft. On the upper portion of a trash bindisposed in a lavatory unit of an aircraft is attached a lidthat pivots via a shaft.
